HOANG Anh Tuan Kiet

Dr. HOANG Anh Tuan Kiet (2013 - present)

Ph.D., Statistical Physics, Sungkyunkwan University, Korea.

 

His current research interests include Statistical Physics and Its applications to various complex systems such as biological, economical and social networks. Recently he has also studied Electronic structure calculations and simulation for nano materials and nuclear fuels.

NGUYEN Xuan Ha

Dr. NGUYEN Xuan Ha (2011 - present)

Ph.D., Electrical & Computer Engineering, University of Saskatchewan, Canada.

 

Dr. Ha's research focuses on the design of wireless communication systems to address two main challenges: throughput and reliability. He is evaluating various techniques to improve the error performance of cooperative diversity systems over wireless channels.

NGUYEN Quang Hung

Dr. NGUYEN Quang Hung (2011 - present)

Ph.D., Theoretical and Mathematical Physics, Institute of Physics (IOP), Hanoi, and Institute of Physical and Chemical Research (RIKEN), Japan. M.S., Nuclear Physics, Hanoi University of Science; B.S., Nuclear Technology, Hanoi University of Science; Certificate of International Student Internship, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), South Korea.

Dr. Hung has been a postdoctoral and visiting researcher at the Theoretical Nuclear Physics Laboratory, RIKEN Nishina Center for Accelerator-Based Science (Japan); the Department of Physics, University of Notre Dame (U.S.A.); the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory (NSCL), Michigan State University (U.S.A.); and the Centre d'Etudes Nucléaires de Bordeaux Gradignan (CENBG), University of Bordeaux I (France).  Before coming to TTU in 2011, he was engaged in research at the Center for Nuclear Physics in the Institute of Physics, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST), Hanoi.

Dr. Hung’s research interests include nuclear pairing properties at zero temperature, finite temperature and angular momentum; quantal and thermal fluctuations in finite systems; nuclear giant resonances, BCS-BEC transition in finite systems, nuclear viscosity, and related topics. His research has been published in several scientific journals such as Physical Review C (American Physical Society), Physics Letters B, Journal of Physics G: Nuclear and Particle Physics, International Journal of Modern Physics E, etc. He has been principle investigator of two research projects funded by National Foundation for Science and Technology Development (NAFOSTED) of Vietnam.

NGUYEN Huynh Thi Tho

Dr. NGUYEN Huynh Thi Tho (2011 - present)

Ph.D., Electrical Engineering, University of Washington (Seattle), U. S. A.

 

His graduate research was in systems control, with a focus on the optimization of multi-variable, highly-nonlinear, large-scale systems.

TRAN Duy Hien

Dr. TRAN Duy Hien (2011 - present)

Ph.D., Mathematics, New Mexico State University, U. S. A.

 

Dr. Hien's research interests include statistical risk analysis and risk modeling for coarse data (including censored, missing, incomplete and imprecise data).

VO Thi Kieu Loan

Dr. VO Thi Kieu Loan (2013 - present)

Ph.D., Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, U. S. A.

 

Her current research interests include magnetic resonance imaging, computational neuroscience, machine learning and image processing. All are applied to study the human brain.
